Why are people afraid to let people love them?   Well.... people have been hurt.  That's pretty much it.  Sooo are people going to choose to live miserably because they are afraid to get hurt again.  YEP!  Crazy!  I am a bit tired of people looking at me as if I have only one motive... to SAVE them.  No my motive is to love them... God does the saving.  So since I'm a Christian, that means I am perfect and I think everyone needs to be perfect also to get saved?  ENOUGH!  I LOVE PEOPLE PERIOD!!!  Yes I strive for holiness and I TRY to align myself with God's perfection.... why?  Because I lived a life where I did not care and where evil was always lurking at my door step, and I was miserable!!!

I am not asking people to be something they are not.  Be you and if it's working for you that's great, but if not, why not check yourself and see why?  Could it be that we don't know everything?  Where does knowledge and wisdom come from?  The Lord!  Are you obeying the Lord.... in all things?  Oh... but your world is falling apart and it's God's fault right?  How lame does that sound?  The Lord has given us a choice.  We either follow his ways or we don't.  But when you do it leads to so much goodness!  Or you could follow your own ways which leads to wherever, and then you find that you are so lost & confused with emptiness, hate, frustration, stress, anger, fear... and on and on... and it's God's fault?  Take responsibility for yourself.  Get up, live life and love it!

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self‑seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."  1Corinthians 13:4-13 NIV

I am what You say I am! 08/13/2010

Lord I am what YOU say I am!  Not what others say I am.  For so long I took to heart what was said to me or about me and  if it was bad, it rang louder than all the good.  No longer will I choose to listen to the devil and his twisted words.  I am a child of God and He has created me to believe in myself and to see myself through His eyes.  Every part of me is made for a reason.

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.  How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!"  Psalms 139:14-17 NIV

Having children brings to light the beauty of God and how he has created us to be happy and free of pain.  My children shine so much light into my life.  They are full of joy and love.  Ryan and I make sure that we do not shatter their spirit.  We continue to cherish them and show them love.  I love how they see things as they are, not how they can be seen.  I know that they will grow up and will be influenced by others but I will always remind them on how God sees them and how God sees others.  I will encourage them to do whatever their heart desires.  I will remind them that they are beautiful and can make a difference by loving others and helping them when in need.

I stand on the Word of God and hide it in my heart so that I might not sin against Him and by doing this my life is full of joy and love.  I see the path that the Lord has for me and nothing that the devil says can influence me.  So much freedom comes by serving the Lord.  This freedom is not doing whatever the flesh desires but doing whatever my heart desires.  My heart is influenced by God and the spirit of God lives within me so my desires are God's desires.

"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun."
Psalms 37:4-6 NIV

"The Empty Cross" in Kerrville, TX Has Been Raised!!! 07/28/2010

I am so overjoyed right now!  Ryan, I and many others in the town of Kerrville have waited so long for this day! The Kerrville cross has been raised!  The Cross is called "The Empty Cross".  It is a Sculpture that uniquely communicates the Resurrection, that Jesus is alive, not dead. Its “hollow” or “empty” design allows light to pass through, symbolizing the “Light of the World” (John 8: 12), that comes to us through the cross.

Ryan and I work for the artist Max Greiner Jr. who is the owner of  Max Greiner Jr. Designs and President of The Coming King Foundation.   Max designed The Empty Cross and Monte Paddleford, who is the owner of Eagle Bronze Foundry in WY, built it out of Con-tin Steel.

We are also Trustees of the board of The Coming King Foundation.  It has been an honor to serve and volunteer for this non-profit organization.  The foundation's mission is to help create evangelical
gardens, called The Coming King Sculpture Garden, around the country.
